Procedure & Requirements
Applicants for admission to a four year Bachelor programme are required to fulfill the following:
1. Submit a University Application Form accompanied with an application fee as specified.
2. Applicants must be holders of MSCE with six credits one of which should be in English Language. Students who don't have six credits can enter the bridging programme for one semester.
3. Applicants for the Bachelor of Science in Education Program should have an additional credit in Mathematics.
4. All applicants at MSCE level are required to sit for University Entrance Examinations.
5. The selection process is based on a combination of MSCE and University Entrance Examinations using a predetermined formula.
6. Applicants with A Level or Diploma qualifications may be exempted from the University Entrance Examinations if the results are deemed to be satisfactory for the program applied for.
8. Selected candidates are notified through the media both print and electronic, as well through individual letters.
9. Admission to the University is upon payment of the tuition fee as specified in the letter of offer upon arrival on campus.
10. Admission is open to applicants irrespective of religious inclinations, or any other discriminatory traits as long as they are willing to study within the norms of the Catholic teachings.
11. Foreign students are welcome. The university an assist in the necessary immigration formalities.
12. Selection of students for admission is purely on merit and based on predetermined quota for the programs offered.

Application forms are obtainable upon payment of MK1,000 available from the University Campus and all Diocesan Education Secretaries

Fees
Admission is upon payment of tuition fees presently set at MK 160,000 per semester for Malawian students. Accommodation is available on campus in hostels and paid separately. A cafeteria is available for provision of meals which can be arranged on prepaid basis with the cafeteria operator
